i know it seems sad that they are kicked out of the system at age 16 but all kids graduate from school there at 16. they are not being let go too early. it is very sad though. i got the blessing to be able to meet eight kids from there in august and i got attached to them and when they left i was depressed. we have no way of contacting them and it hurts to have someone you love like that in those kind of conditions.

I know one of those girls in the video...she was adopted by my boyfriends family this summer! along with another girl and her brother...two 11 year olds and a 13 yr old...these kids story are sad...but they still have hope

Geez this was sad, I was tearing up. =( I'm only (almost) 19, but in the future if Ukraine is still open for adoptions it's something I want to think about doing.
